Noah and the Whale
Sarah Horsley tries to provide the listener with an insight into the world of Noah and the Whale, a rock/folk band who heralded their arrival onto the UK music scene in the summer of 2008 with their infectious hit Five Years Time. After several festival appearances in the summer, and the release of their debut album, the band embarked on a sell-out UK tour in the autumn of this year; the last date of which was at the Old Fire Station, in Bournemouth. The programme feature snippets of the interview recorded at the gig, as well as some biographical information on the band to inform the listener about Noah and the Whale, and the views of some of the students who attended the gig as to what they thought of the performance.
