Dan is from from St. Helens - think Pilkington Glass, rugby league and Johnny Vegas. Either side of studying a degree in Psychology at Sheffield University he spent time travelling and also lived and worked on the Isles of Scilly. After presenting - and hugely enjoying - a show on the university radio station he developed a passion for radio and decided to pursue it as a career.

Dan has had work experience at Wise Buddah and Radio Scilly, and volunteered at BBC Merseyside for several months in 2007. Outside of the course he has co-presented and co-produced a music podcast for CuRioSiTy - a music night at Mr Kyps in Poole - with fellow MARP student Geoff McQueen. In March 2008 he was involved with 'Doing It For Swing' - a 24 hour broadcast of DJ sets streamed live on the internet in memory of DJ Swing.

Dan would like to gain as much experience in the industry as he can so that he can eventually work for himself.
