_MG_0630Liam Talbot is an aspiring voice-over artist and radio producer based in Bournemouth. He grew up in Bromley, Kent and moved to Bournemouth at the age of 11. Liam loved living in Bournemouth so much he stayed there for university and graduated with a BA honours degree in Radio. Liam has always enjoyed listening to the radio, especially comedies. It was only until college when he studied Music Technology he realised the same editing skills can be transferred to producing radio.

Whilst at university Liam developed a wide range of skills to do with radio and produced many different kinds of original audio. One of the main skills he developed was audio editing and his talent and confidence grew with each project he worked on. He has also presented live radio and had a brief stint as DJ on Bournemouth University’s student station, Nerve Radio. Liam also interviewed people for radio features and recorded live music for a podcast entitled BH Live Unsigned. Liam also developed his cross platform skills working in a group on a viral advertising campaign for L’Oreal – because he is definitely worth it. For his graduate project, Liam created, produced, co-wrote and acted in a comedy/sci-fi anthology series called The Realm of the Strange, for which he received a 1st.

It was during the three year course he realised his dream of becoming a voice over artist. As a child he would do silly voices and impressions of Simpsons characters for the amusement of his friends at school. This led to doing impressions of teachers that inevitably led to several detentions. Fast-forward to the present day and Liam has provided his voices to many of his peers’ university projects and aspires to become a professional voice over artist and voice actor.
