Tracey Langlade was born on the 17th of October 1993, in New York, NY. At the age of thirteen Tracey and her family relocated to Nice in the South of France where she completed high school, gaining an International Baccalaureate degree. After being abroad for so long Tracey decided to go back to her New York roots and attend SUNY Purchase, a university famous for arts and performing arts. While Tracey attended SUNY Purchase she got involved with eccentric classes such as circus skills where she participated in a final performance as well as being in charge of music and sound. Knowing she had a passion for media, Tracey got involved in Purchase Television and Radio, where she put together games shoes and skits with friends. After getting involved in Purchase radio she realized that she really enjoyed and connected with the medium, and wanted to do something further with it. Tracey then chose to transfer to Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom to study Honors Radio and get a Bachelor’s Degree in the subject. While at Bournemouth Tracey Langlade has created several podcasts and features covering topics along the lines of slang, music festivals, “yachties,” Fraternities and Sororities, etc. Tracey has also created a 30-minute magazine program on student travel, and she was also the manager of a one-hour outside broadcast that covered the festival of learning, with the help of some classmates. Over last Summer Tracey learned the ropes on how the real radio industry works when she joined the Zach Sang and the Gang team. Zach Sang and the Gang is a top-40 radio show based in the CBS Broadcasting building in New York City. Working at the radio station gave Tracey the extended knowledge base and hands-on experience to catapult her through her final year at Bournemouth University.
