Ricky Holder has always listened to radio. For as long as he can remember, he has always listen to chart shows on Capital FM and BBC Radio 1. Even as a small boy, Ricky would sing along to the radio but it was one day in year 7 when listening to Chris Moyles, he openened his imagination to the possibility of radio. Sharing a sense of humour Ricky then decided he wanted to be a radio DJ. Taking Media studies for GCSE’s was the first step on his conquest.\u00a0 After this, he went to college to study creative media and following on to university to ultimately study radio.<\/p>\n

Through university, Ricky created radio pieces such as documentaries, soundscapes and interviews. He used various genres such as comedy and sports. After university Ricky plans to make a career with BBC Radio 1 and plans to become breakfast host. Just like he dreamt as an 11 year old boy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
