I chose to studRadio-5y radio at Bournemouth University to further my skills as a radio professional. During my educational life at university  I have enjoyed exploring different aspects of the radio industry and creating different types of radio programming making myself a more well round radio professional rather than pursuing a singular path of presenting.

I now know more about the industry I am joining and can establish my own concise career plan. When I decided on the career path I wanted to pursue I worked on getting as much experience as possible and quickly joined four voluntary radio stations to build my skills then moved on to work as an intern for Global and Jazz FM. during this time volunteering I have been a vital member of the team and created content for each station. I have produced and presented various shows all of which require different styles and formats.

One format I have been particularly proud of making is comedy related programmes I have created  documentaries exploring the comedy and entertainment industry first by taking part in a comedy a course and later exploring mental health and the effects it has on the people in this industry. Leaving my university course I am aspiring to become a radio presenter on a music based radio station as well being a freelance producer to create my own radio programmes.
