Radio-9I’ve always been interested in the media, in my GCSE options I chose to study Creative Media, this is where I realised my love for radio. At times I enjoy presenting but my true enthusiasm lies in production and is where I see myself in the future.

I particularly enjoy podcasting as it enables me to be creative and use my imagination whilst still having the freedom to push boundaries that live radio cannot do.

The course has allowed me to strengthen many skills inside and out of radio, as well as develop my confidence in both presentation and editing. My organisation and management abilities improved massively in my 2nd year of university, this is when I became Evening Manager at Nerve Radio (Bournemouth University Student Radio).

My proudest moment so far in my radio career is getting a 7 week Internship at Heart Sussex. My jingles, adverts and multimedia production were broadcast. I also independently produced the Breakfast Show for a week which was an amazing experience.

Please find below a short show reel. Here you’ll find 2 adverts/jingles and a documentary I created about anxiety and depression in the second year of my degree.
