I chose to study radio because of my passion for music radio. I grew up listening to radio stations such as Rinse FM and BBC 6 Music tuning into a select pool of shows to get my fix of underground music. During my time at university, I produced documentaries, dramas and live music programmes and it has broadened my taste and interests in radio. I reveled learning about the curation of documentaries, editing and producing. I completed a two month work placement with NTS Radio and in the future I would really relish working for an online station like NTS, Red Light Radio or Berlin Community Radio specialising in niche genres of music from psychedelic ambient to Brazilian bossanova.
