Andrew is the social media and graphic designer for BIRSt this year, he loves “authentic and natural” soundscapes, and listening to chilled acoustic music. He is originally from Plymouth but moved to Bournemouth in September 2014 for University, at the ripe young age of 18 doing a BA in Media Production. At 22, he is now still here but doing the MA Radio Production course, and they just can’t get rid of him.
Over the course of the year he has developed a keen passion for raising awareness for mental health in his programming; creating a feature on Mental Health: A Spectrum of Voices, and would love to start creating music shows with old and new vinyls and new digital music together. He is a keen supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and his favourite player is Heung-Min Son, but obviously also supports his locals AFC Bournemouth and Plymouth Argyle. Come on you Greens!
But away from all that, when he isn’t going through the falls of football, he wants to spend all of his time playing music, writing songs and just (trying) to be artistic, loving a good bit of vinyl and trying to lather his shows in the old and new at the same time. Having his way, he’d soak continuously in them
